One of the guys that I work with suggested that we start looking at moving over to this technology.
Any thoughts on it?

Before Flex was partially opened up i could see a good reason to go with OL but now that Flex is opened up a bit and thier is a free sdk i see NO advantage to OL at all - well other than principle if youre one of those OSS zealots. Im all for OSS and wish everything was but i use what works, whats best documented, what has the most staying power. In all those categories i think Flex wins hands down. Of cours ei havent evaluated it by use or anything, but i dont see any compeeling reason to even take that step.
